At end 2016 and during the first few weeks of 2017, there were only 3 people jockeying for position to get the year-end bottom prices - 2 of the longs and one alternate basher / flipper (not one of the current group of 3). There was a mixture of very limited bid fills and an ask that nobody wanted to be the first to take out whilst they thought there was still a chance to fill on the bid.

Once it was obvious that no more was going to get filled on the bid, 2 took out the ask (I could tell that because I know how much I got and there was only one other block) that the third had stacked on the ask to flip and he was forced to buy much higher so as not to be left without new bottom price shares for the rest of the year.

OTC market off-the-bottom uptick scanner watchers then started buying. That first run in early 2018 generated the interest prior to the Q4 coming out.

I agree that there should be a run on the end-2017 PR because the results will speak for themselves. Thereafter, there should be no problem getting a first run in 2018 long before the Q4 just on anticipation and people realizing the then current bottom is definitely the bottom.
