Just try using you head a wee bit on this one. If Lynch WAS buttonholed on the Comey investigation, how'd it turn out?
Comey was clear in his presentation that there was not criminally prosecutable behavior, but unprecedentedly he was highly critical of Clinton's behavior.
Investigators don't DO that when they're not referring for prosecution.
And then Comey goes and brings up the Weiner emails...nothing there either....but close enough to the election to do some damage.
And he never mentioned that the Trump campaign was under investigation, though it had been for months.
