Damn, I went on a cruise from Vancouver to Alaska then down to a couple of islands in Japan. I wish I had known, as I chartered a plane to fly me around Alaska. I loved the place. As I was on the last cruise ship to Alaska all the towns were pretty quiet. I was able to get to Dutch Harbor to watch the crews stacking the crab traps onto the ships. Pretty cool. Next time, I will make sure I get Homer and have a couple of brews. Thanks.
