The psychology is definitely odd--after almost a decade of PTOI showing nothing in the way of value, the true believers are doubling down on "naked shorts" as the reason for PTOI's problems.

If there was true transparency, investors would see that PTOI deceived them for years with the promise of a disruptive technology and with multiple red-herring reasons why PTOI just couldn't run the processor, sell it, license it or anything else.

You almost have to admire the faith and patience which PTOI's investors still have for the company while staunchly defending PTOI's image. I don't know what else CEO Mr. Heddle could do to prove to investors that he's unreliable and dishonest but investors still put their trust in him. I suspect Mr. Heddle could hold a shareholders' meeting and literally kick all of the investors in the teeth...and many investors would praise and thank him for the free shoe-based dental work.

Certainly that's not all investors--some are figuring out that they've been swindled and are voicing their discontent...but others are still happily drinking the kool aid.
