That is exactly why they are fighting us legally tooth & nail. Once Ropes & Gray announced they could go for treble damages (approved last year by the US Supreme Court for IP infringment damages) the infringers saw the hand writing on the wall. They must stall & delay the inevitable to make as much money now as possible if they are to have a chance at avoiding bankruptcy caused by those damages IMHO.
