Physically destroying radical Islamic terrorists and their strongholds is not enough, Dr. Sebastian Gorka warned in the wake of the terror attack in Egypt that killed 305 people on Friday.
The violent jihad ideology must be destroyed, just as the power of the fascist and communist ideologies has shriveled in the last few decades, Gorka said.
"We have to take down the attractiveness of the concept of jihad," the former deputy assistant to President Trump told "Fox & Friends Weekend" on Saturday.
The U.S. must continue a counter-propaganda campaign with our Muslim partners like King of Jordan Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Gorka explained.
Physical precautions must be observed as well, including the border wall with Mexico and extreme vetting for immigrants, he added.
