Since this is speculation week, allow me to throw this out there. Why could the company not be weighing how to call in all old shares, in effect cancelling them. Thereafter reissuing new shares. The survey might help them determine how to equitably distribute these shares based on cost basis of the individual shareholders. This would burn shorty and reward loyalty. Preferred shares and common shares would be distributed based on some equity formula with preferred shares to represent some multiple value to common?
