Here's even better wisdom:
1) Check the basket before you buy it to make sure there are no holes in it. If your eggs look like they will fall out of the bottom, don't buy the basket no matter how cheap.
2) If you buy the basket and and 98% of your eggs have gone missing, examine your basket thoroughly to make completely sure it's as sound as you believe. Only then can you extol the magnificent integrity of your basket to others and only then can you blame invisible short naked leprechauns, who specifically target your basket, for stealing all of your eggs.
