Nanoco up 23% today on this report
This is a company report - they highlight sales, yet run a high deficit. They highlight partners, yet there is little to show yet from the relationships. It is what you would expect from their management. I do appreciate the description from Edelman about how difficult it is to satisfy OEMs, who are always changing specifications.
The thing to remember is that 'the world's largest chemical company' (who may be DowDupont) is speaking to us. Edelman uses "Dow" instead of "DowDupont" so I wonder when he last spoke with them. If they go with us, they drop them. The relationships that OEMs have with their providers today are based on who performs best, delivers and at the best price. If OEMs want to make more displays than Nanoco can provide QD for, then they go with the larger producer, and no deal is safe.
