"very well" is a very context specific term and, unfortunately we don't have a context in which to place it. people are believing what fits into their own narratives.
if you were expecting, for example, to lose the case or to lose the patent, then doing "very well" could be revenue neutral, meaning not to have lost.
if you were expecting to only make a little, then, etc.
so, it's impossible to tell what that entails, it's nebulous, probably on purpose.
