A B-OM partnership should be very informative for a few reasons...it will indicate who one of the BPs we are negotiating with; it should give us an indication of whether up front dollars or back end royalties are preferred by IPIX and it will give us an idea of the value of B-OM which at this point is difficult to evaluate. I have heard that OM increases oncology treatment costs by about $16K per patient. If we have 500,000 patients per year receiving treatment and charge only 10% of the treatment costs, that is still a huge number. The other thing such a deal would do is give additional credibility to the other indications and likely would make our favorite FUD spewers keep quiet.
