$MVTG produced a working 2 wheel scotter that runs a 300 watt formate fueled, MRFC (Mixed reactant fuel cell) in 2015 as a proof on concept demo that an 80% lower cost to manufacture than PEM fuel cells that use hydrogen fuel cell is practical and ready for engineering protoype and field trial stages. The fuel is non flammable, liquid at room temp, and the fuel cell operates near ambient temps.
