There are such enormous sums at stake! Some BODs may choose to fight in court until the bitter end. Because of the magnitude of a settlement, filing for bankruptcy and reorganizing might be their scummy dog way out of lessening the financial impact IMHO but like you, I'm not a corp. attorney so don't know buisness law well.
Any lawyers out there care to clarify this issue?
