services... Deacon for 10 years. They tend to preach a lot of hate in their churches...Think they call it legalism ...
Church was doing fine. Then 2-3 Southern Baptist families moved in...they tore the church up from the ground up...with legalism
Brought a Salt Lake City missionary in one week... Pastor gave him the pulpit. He started, ranting on all the other religions. Then he got to the Mormons... I was shocked. My Grand Mother was Mormon and my Grand Father found the Prophet hidden grave. I grew up in Nauvoo, Illinois. I was raising my hand trying to get a word in. Nothing. I was a Deacon at the time. Picked my family up and walked them out the door. Never went back .
2 weeks later, 2 church elder's showed up at the door. Told me I needed to confess my sin in front of the church or be dammed to hell...
Well... I basically told them to go "F" themselves...2 months later the church split 3 ways.
