Synthetics cannot possibly succeed because they are ineffective and potentially dangerous due to side effects. The public will not stand for pharma's charade. Let's take cancer as an example. Cannabis is effective for treating cancer due to the synergistic effect of all the cannabinoids entering the cells CB1 and CB2 receptors blocking their ability to metabolize sugar while shutting down the ability of tumors to grow blood supply, effectively starving the cancer. Synthetic analogs have no such ability because the body does not recognize the molecule and rejects it as a foreign sibstance. There are many such examples.
