The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced on Monday to have declared the winner of a bidding procedure related to the issuance of a concession license for the building of a hydro-power plant (HPP) on Shala River, a subsidiary of Drin River.
Referring to the data published by Ministry of Energy, the HPP project will be worth $100mln. The bidding procedure’s winner is a consortium made up by Çinar-San Hafriyat Nakliyat Inşaat Turizm Sanayi Ve Ticaret Ltd.Şti, Shala Energy PLC, and Falak Properties LLC.
The installed capacity of the power plant will be 83,450 kW and the energy production approx. 321,465 kWh. The construction period of the PP is 36 months.
