I did notice that many of these celebrities died well within the range of normal life expectancy. We all die from something. So we exercise sanction through high taxation. The leading cause of premature death is the automobile. Who wants to ban cars? And alcohol has a huge cost on the economy. We tried sanctioning that. We currently have many drug users sitting in prisons because we sanction that. Don't we know that laws don't change human behavior? It only creates another non-productive layer in the system.
