Sorry hawks, I got to put my thoughts in about how much money pharma, doctors, hospitals, etc make off of diabetes and obesity. Any article I see that will lead to more of both I question. The profit motive in the US business has gone bonkers. Look at Wells Fargo, not only one, but 2 massive scandals. Fines were l ike you and me paying $200. Our whole business scene is scary compared to 30 years ago.
What got me on a high fat diet was was that I was taking 15mg of Glipizide. My doc tells me if I need over 20mg, I need to go on insulin, that is much more expensive. So, I get a new 3 month order of pills last January. They are much smaller and act in my body like a 3 mg pill. So, I would need 5 of them to equal my 15. My doc said give them longer, and was sure they were 5 mg. Well, 5 of them and I'm on insulin and it would cost me a ton more money. i saw the scam and got made and started on the Paleo diet.
University testing is a scam. Big pharma just goes to ones who will give them the results they want. We all know big pharma has many people in government, like the FDA, AMA and ADA. So, 90% of what we see is astroturf science, and i am proof to myself that higher fat is good. The astroturfers will use examples of people eating way too much fat and getting higher LDL cholesterol Mine went up, but not in the danger zone..
More people die of low cholesterol than high, bet you did not know that..
Oh, I will give you points about Sweden. I had not heard that and sounds very possible.
