The problem is, the FDA may be saying this, but they're not telling Congress that this is what should be the legislation that reclassifies the extracts which can be found in cannabis. Frankly legalizing the components, without legalizing all forms of the plant would play very well into what OWCP is doing. I don't know that such an action might even be supported by Session's.

Such legislation would still not completely eliminate the conflict between the State's and Federal Govt, but drugs could certainly be developed without conflict. It would not legalize all the products in medical marijuana stores, as few if any have actually undergone FDA testing and approval.
