the 10q is the quarterly report mandated by the SEC. So it would be released on or around the same times each year. In the event of major news shareholders should know about the SEC requires that an 8k be filed.

It is possible that an 8k be filed to announce the settlement has been concluded but we wouldn't see the numbers from that settlement to the next 10q. But I think a lot of us are hoping that we see the numbers in the 8k.
