Feel free to spell it out. FINRA posts the information that is reported to them by the market makers at the request of the SEC. I have never stated it is 100% accurate but it is the best and only source we have. The MM's do tend now to report fairly accurately after having been given multi-million dollar fines for falsely reporting in the past.
