Many mining companies with their shares trading at 5 cents did make financing at much higher price such as at 10 cents. Fiananciers cannot accumulate large number of shares at lower price in thin market. Financiers keen to see the company's rosy future potential are willing to pay much higher prices. But not day traders, they want share price dropping to $0.001 or 0.1 cent, so that they can incur 1000% gain if share price rises to 1 cent. Its greed that drives price down, not lack of confidence in this company with astronomical future growth potential.
