"Because the settlement involves multiple agreements relating to the settlement of this action and the settlement of a parallel litigation on different patents in another district court, it has taken the parties longer than expeted to complete final settlement agreements."
Does anyone have any idea of what it means by "the settlement of a parallel litigation on different patents in another district court?"
To me, it sounds more like the counter-(parallel)-suit brought by Entrust in which 2 of their patents were involved. I am not sure if it was in another district court though. It would sound strange if they are talking about other lawsuits in which a third party is involved, doesn't it?
But anyway, they should only have minor details that need to be wrapped up. The good thing is we have only 2 more weeks to find out and we'd better not set our expectations too high IMO.
