Alector is getting 225 million for alternative alzheimer's drug, NOT focusing on the failed stupid tau protein pathway that has cost literally billions of wasted money on studies for drugs that fail just like all of the previous tau-targeting drugs have failed. It's good that drug companies are FINALLY waking up to the fact that they've been going in utterly the wrong direction.
