I understand what it is that you are doing. If everyone tried to experiment with the price at once by selling shares even small lots and reporting what they find it could cause a landslide of selling. People do not buy a stock that is going down.

There is another way to find out what is happening and that is to be buying small lots as cheaply as you can and holding what you have. I may have said this before somewhere but I know you are quite a bit smarter than I so I won't try to teach you anything. For the rest of you I say this --- Hold what you have to protect the price of your portfolio buy as cheaply as you can, when you can. Before the weekend is done I will gather my thoughts and post one more time.
