This is an attempt at intimidation on the part of the basher as well as an attempt to undermine the original posters credibility.

It's also an attempt to elicit a negative emotional response.

Addressing anything else in the post would just be highlighting the bashers agenda for him, which is unsupported supposition that he wants to try to spin as fact.
