well, logic would dictate that if they are killing the market with this product locally, the revenue generated will allow them to create the framework to distribute it internationally. Hjoe will do the market research first to see a) IF there is a demand for the product. b) what the market penetration would be. c) competition. d) etc etc. once they have established the necessary back office stuff they will move forward to see whether it is viable to distribute the product in that market place. I don't see a problem with it. They have winning products and they just need time to get recognized, branded and established in the various global markets - which btw they are doing successfully.
