I had 250 acres about 80 miles south of Atlanta with over a mile of river front. No electricy or running water. Two cabins built in 1904 and 1905. Not a neighbor within 2 miles. We would fish and hunt all day then lay out a trot line in the late evenings. We would get up the next morning and have 50 - 60 river cats on those hooks.Then we would have about 30 or 40 people show up to party, cook venison in the ground, fry catfish and have potato salad, beans and slaw while people played the fiddle, banjos, and guitars.
