You're trying to make too many points for me to follow. Insults are so perceived by the "offended". And to not pigeon hole, I believe we have an entrenched ruling class and its' pr department (media) that demonizes anything that removes control from it's grasp. May have always been so, but certainly is now. Divide, marginalize, and create victim groups pitted against one another, then paint yourself the savior (small s). Also, the co-equal branches haven't been so for some time.
