I think your spot on. Big Pharma is getting a lot of heat these days for price increases and drug dependence. I can also say that the government seems to be tired of footing the bill, and that health insurance companies have already made it clear that they control what meds a patient can and can not get once on the market. In short, once MMJ meds are available to the patient and proving effective it will be the health insurance companies who demand MMJ products over other Big Pharma products and Big Pharma knows this so they have delayed as long as they can and now realize that it's coming and who ever holds the most patents and has the research completed wins because it will completely remove other pharma products from market.
