My mom had a patient come in to have skin cancer looked at... it was gone and when asked what he was doing he hesitated and said that he had been doing some research and had been making his own cannabis oil and applying it. They had a talk about it and of course my mom knows I invest in MMJ stocks and have told her about some of the research.

My point in sharing this is that She can't prescribe it even if she wanted to because 1. she does not live in a state where it is legal and 2. She has a medical license to protect and could not only lose her job, and license but go to jail for prescribing it.

I think that once the states change their laws then the medical staff will start to try new things. It's call practicing medicine for a reason as it's not an exact science. I also don't think that for the medical community that smoking will ever be something that catches on. Medically the problems with dosage and other complications just are to much of a variable.
