I just asked a hospital nurse if cannabis was any more acceptable now then it was over 2 years ago when I was treated here. The answer was while it's gaining respect, it's still not something they can use. It sounds to me like they are not quite concerned as they were a couple years ago if a patient had some candy or other edible forms. They cannot condone it, but it sounds like they're more willing to overlook it.

Clearly the answer is giving it legal Federal status, and until that time they follow the Federal guidelines, at least officially, in spite the fact that California made it legal medically years ago, and it will become legal recreationally in January.

With 29 State's, including some of the most populist State's having at least approved drugs, all we really need is for Congress to vote according to their state's legal preferences.
