Most diabetics do not buy the meter/strips on their own. They are usually prescribed by Dr.'s and covered by insurance companies. DECN needs to build relationships with insurance carriers and governmental agencies such as the VA, Medicare and Medicaid to have their products as product of choice to rapidly build the market share they project.
