They would have to license the entire Brilacidin intellectual property platform.

For instance, Bril-OM could be used also as a rinse after dental procedures, or perhaps for gum disease, etc. Thus, any licensing for Bril would have to be for all oral uses. But, what if someone bought some and then used it off-label for, for instance, food poisoning (drinks it). Likewise, what if someone prescribed some Bril-ABSSSI (intravenous) but then it was used topically for burn patients?

It would be a nightmare to have the same drug used for different applications. I can't imagine that ANY big pharma would want to deal with that.

You'd think that some company, seeing the UP initial results, and then when we get the OM results, would want to license the entire platform with a royalty agreement for subsequent uses.
