There are so many posts about the closing date, debating weekends and all else...I'll ask, why does it matter?

OK, ya it matters that the close is somewhere between the 15th and 31st, including those outside dates, but other than the fact that the company pulled off a major goal as planned, the stock rockets to $1.50, I don't understand why people are so concerned.
