I worked at Merrill Lynch during all hell breaking loose in 2008 and we were bought by Bank of America on a Sunday, Sept 14, 2008. I was on calls all day Saturday and Sunday until it was completed and then it hit the news wire. That’s a major f’ing buyout/transaction if you ask me and history has it in print it went down on a Sunday. Those bashers can pound sand!
