I've always said I wish they would wait to put out "news" if they don't hit the date it just tends to frustrate.
If they waited to put out news a week or two before the set release I think it would be far more effective. The commercials are great news, but now it's "old" news, the hype has died down and frustration has set in by a broken time frame.
They always follow through, I love that. But it is an extensive list of missed timeframes. Hold the news close until it is launch day, far more effective.
