Looks like LG is setting the ground work for Samsung's ownership of QLED to be worthless. This ruling appears to equate QLED as a common acronym for quantum dot light emitting diode. If that's the case, I don't think the QD Vision trademark that Samsung bought will stand the test if someone challenges it which I'm sure is just around the corner and might even be LG's intent of this filing.
