There are times when those consolidated quotes show you the truth of what's going on, since sometimes they have to do several trades to fill one order.
The Time and Sales link right above where the message list starts, on this page, breaks down each trade individually.
It seems clear that something's up. When they do the paired trades to try to paint a picture of volume, they don't usually do them with such large lots, in a short period of time. It makes me think that at least some of them are genuine trades by someone covering a short or going long(er).
