We will never know the full story, as any discussions fall under confidentiality agreements, but OWCP might be talking to Pfizer alone, or they might be talking with half a dozen or more of the big Pharma's, and no telling how many other smaller companies like Mediq.

In other companies, at times management has said they were in negotiations, but at times such partnerships came with virtually no notice.

I think your friend at Pfizer is at least saying they're interested, but that could very well be true of many others and at this point the company may only be looking for one. Frankly I'd be thrilled to find the psoriasis cream partnered with one big Pharma, and the sublingual tablet to be partnered with a different big Pharma. Should the company develop several such partnership, if a buyout offer ever were made, it could lead to a bidding frenzy that we small investors would truly love.
