Sears, I went shopping there Sunday at a mall. I have read they are likely top go BK, but have not seen anything official. They had 50% or less merchandise, no TV's, little fall and winter clothing. Sad, it has been a great store my whole lifetime. But, time changes and many new stores I shop at have arrived, like Costco. Competition makes things better, on the whole.

The problem now is our government has allowed huge oligopolies to form. they drive out completion or the government even bails out failures. Monsanto?bayer merger, OMG. DuPont /Dow, OMG. Then these huge companies fund campaigns of most politicians. Sad to see the US destroyed by politics being taken over by these big companies with big money. WellsFargo? Executives should be in jail.
