I believe that like it or not in a few years big Pharma will be heavily into the cannabis market. The question for companies like OWCP may be, do they allow themselves to be acquired, or do they partner and remain somewhat independent.
It's my hope that OWCP develop several partnerships for its products, but remains independent.
In most partnerships where big Pharma takes over developmental costs, as well as providing for manufacturing, distribution and sales, they will get the substantially greater part of sales revenue. The good news is even ten percent of the total sales for many of the products being developed by OWCP could still run into hundreds of millions with virtually no further costs to them once the partnership is put into place, and 0WCP should receive substantial funds up front in gaining the partnership.
I agree with all who believe that the company's silence has a lot to do with the fact that they're negotiating with perhaps several other companies in developing partnerships.
