I've been piddling around with bonsais since 2000 and love it. In addition to working with wisteria and a maple, these are pretty easy, I have also tried working with a redwood the Dainty Darling Dove got me a few years back. Alas, that poor thing died after about three years when I suddenly developed a severe case of "brown thumbitis".
For a couple of years now I have been thinking of ordering a baobab tree. Should I break down and buy it, that would probably make me one of the very few in South Carolina with a baobab bonsai.
