When you let your emotions get in the way of sound judgment, that's when money is lost. I used to share your sentiment, Delta, until a wise man told me something that made me think twice: he said "have you ever bought an airline before? Have you ever been through an audit for two years of scrambled financials? No? Then shut the fuck up."
For some reason - and I'm still not sure what that reason is - I never forgot that. The point is that investor confidence can wear thin now and we can afford it. The process will resolve itself. The audits will get done and the acquisition completed. But it may not happen on your or my timelines. It doesn't have to. Now, that doesn't mean we have to like the fact that this is taking longer than we want it to (and let's be honest, it is), but we are in a position where the acquisition being closed will, in my opinion, send the stock soaring much higher than you or I are anticipating. And it'll probably happen in a matter of weeks. Worth the wait, wouldn't you agree? Even if it's another couple months.
