The shorts are struggling because the weak longs are long gone. Longs are not selling they are however continuing to accumulate. The shorts realize they erred in picking CTIX to abusively short. They realize that they may end up being forced to buy back shares for dollars that they sold for pennies. While they don't often lose IPIX appears to be a company that is going to turn the tables on them and cost them big bucks. Savvy management and outstanding science is going to do them in.
