A problem with silicon crystals in Q-putting is that pairs need to be the same size or they give different results. These scientists created a solution that measures each crystal and makes a mathematical adjustment to correct the error.

Typically, the smaller the size of the nanocrystal, the harder to contol uniformity. Uniformity is critical in quantum computing. Below 1nm in size, we are in the atom scale. Most likely very difficult to make. On that basis, we have an argument for QMC to offer value added pricing - uniformity. If it can be done at all.
