20 years old I did go
summer 1965
8 days on a motorcycle
from small town Indiana
across the prairie / dodged a tornado
up and down the Rocky Mountains
across the desert - slept with boots off so
snakes would crawl in and not find my leg
(no snake) to the Grand Canyon
Needles Ca 90+ degrees at midnight
stayed indoors motel that night
to the Pacific ocean 2,500 miles.
Man oh man !!
