Why on God's wet planet would the mayor not answer or return his calls, cell phones still work, OMG OMG OMG OMG
They had more time when the governor spoke on Friday. the big rains did not hit Houston until Saturday night, Sunday morning. As i said, Houston people had many options to get out, unlike Florida where people can and do only go north. The mayor telling people to stay put has already proven to have been a terrible decision.
