All they had to do was find one with the latest model car, take the class down to the parking lot, do a walk around noting the camera placements on the vehicle, turn on the ignition, note the forward looking infrared, the collision avoidance camera check list, lane departure warning with auto correction feature, cruise control radar separation feature and the radar controlled emergency breaking.
