Sox: Your posts on shorting all allude to legal shorting where shares are borrowed which in fact is good for the stock. For some reason you seem to not accept the fact that there is legal shorting where shares are borrowed with the intent to buy back the shorted shares and illegal/naked shorting where shares are sold without being borrowed and with no intention of ever buying them back.which is criminal.
Every IPIX shareholder is aware the company has been under attack by short sellers. Those short sellers had hit pieces written and a class action suit was brought all in an attempt to destroy the company and prevent it from listing on the NASDAQ which would have caused the stock to trade in dollars rather than pennies and would have generated institutional investment.
Those short sellers have not bought back the shares they sold that they did not own. They are still liable for them. The price decreases a tad almost daily because of them and will continue to do so until an announcement of magnitude is made by the company. I believe most investors understand that and realize what is causing the steady erosion of the share price. It is not because a steady stream of investors are selling, it is because the company continues to be under attack with counterfeit shares being sold on a daily basis to offset buying by longs who appreciate the outstanding science the company has in trials and its potential.
I ask you once again to take the time to read this and then share this with others: http://counterfeitingstock.com/CounterfeitingStock.html
In the meantime I intend to continue fighting abusive naked shorting which is criminal until it is banned in the United States as it is in Europe.
Go IPIX!!!
